Professional Racer and Precision Driving Instructor for BMW, Johan considers himself a gear head fanatic who loves being behind the wheel.
Born and raised in Denmark, Johan's passion with cars began at age six when he came up with his own rating system for cars listed in a annual consumer guide book. Johan started his racing career on the family farm when the fields were harvested and the ponds froze over.
Committed to getting experience, Johan has driven a large a variety of cars as possible to always be prepared for the next opportunity and race.
Johan came to the US to finish his college career, which included his MBA, and to pursue racing on regular basis. After working for Fidelity and Mullens Advertising, Johan wanted racing to be full time.
In 2001, Johan started Endurance Karting, an arrive and drive karting program with events up and down the East Coast. The idea came to him after writing articles or European magazines about driving schools in the US. In 2013, Endurance Karting was sold to allow Johan to pursue new opportunities and develop his racing schedule. Johan also works as a Factory Precision Driving Instructor at BMW Performance Center.
For the last 20 years racing has been Johan's hobby and profession. Along with his own racing SCCA, NASA, Grand-Am and World Challenge, Johan is also a Precision Factory Instructor at BMW Performance Center.
Johan is available for private instructional both at the race track as well as private one on one at the BMW Performance Center.

In addition to his own racing, he does private one on one coaching for all levels of drivers - karting to big track. As an instructor at BMW Performance Center he is also able to give private one on one car control lessons at the center.
